Growing Up Cardinal to Open at Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum

The St. Louis Cardinals announced that Growing Up Cardinal is the newest featured exhibit to debut at the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum.

Growing Up Cardinal will open on Sunday, March 23, days before the start of the 2025 Major League Baseball season. The exhibit will explore the childhood baseball experiences of Cardinals fans across the three St. Louis Cardinals’ stadiums (Sportsman’s Park, Busch Stadium 1, Busch Stadium 2).

In addition to featuring artifacts such as promotional items, baseball cards, toys, books, and stadium certificates, the exhibit highlights examples of team branding and player endorsements, stories of mascots and bat boys, and the beginnings of the Knot Hole Gang. Visitors will also be invited to share their personal and favorite Cardinals stadium memories as part of the exhibit.

“Generations of fans have cheered on the Cardinals from Sportsman’s Park to Busch Memorial Stadium to today’s Busch Stadium,” said Amy Berra, Manager & Curator of the Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum. “We are proud to unveil this one-of-a-kind special exhibit that celebrates the memories, traditions, and timeless joy of growing up a Cardinals fan through the eyes of young fans across the decades.”

In keeping with the theme of childhood experiences, elements of drawings done by six children from the team’s co-ed youth baseball and softball program, Redbird Rookies, are incorporated in the exhibit’s logo and used throughout the exhibit. This exhibit will be open through February 2026 and is included with admission to the Cardinals Museum.

Currently, the museum allows for the following opportunities and so much more:

  • View one-of-a-kind stadium models that showcase each home of the Redbirds, from Sportsman’s Park to the current Busch Stadium.
  • Take your place alongside the greatest broadcasters in team history as you get a chance to call some of the Cardinals most memorable moments in “The Broadcast Booth.”
  • Hold an authentic bat used by a Cardinals great in the “Holding History” area.
  • Celebrate the Cardinals 11 World Series titles in “The Championship Gallery.”

The Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum is located on the second floor of Cardinals Nation at Ballpark Village. The Museum is open daily from 10 AM-6 PM and remains open through the seventh inning during home night games. Fans can purchase Cardinals Museum tickets for $13 online at cardinals.com/museum. Alternatively, admission to the museum is also included with the purchase of Busch Stadium classic tour tickets. For $22, you can purchase two attractions for the price of one!
