2025 MLB All-Star Game Starters Revealed on ESPN

The starters for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard were announced during a reveal show airing live on ESPN. Kevin Connors and Xavier Scruggs hosted the reveal show.

The 95th Midsummer Classic will be played at Truist Park on Tuesday, July 15. It will mark the third All-Star Game to be hosted by the Atlanta Braves, following the 1972 All-Star Game at Atlanta Stadium and the 2000 Midsummer Classic at Turner Field.

All-Star Week is not just limited to the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. The All-Star Futures Game and the T-Mobile Home Run Derby will take place on July 12 and July 14, respectively. The 2025 MLB Draft will also be taking place during the week.

Shohei Ohtani was the leading NL All-Star votes leader, earning his 5th career selection. He leads the NL in quite a few categories, including home runs, runs, XBH, SLG, and OPS. Aaron Judge was the leading AL vote getter during the first phase, earning his 7th ASG selection.

The rest of the All-Star rosters, including pitchers and reserve position players for both teams, will be announced at 5 PM ET on ESPN on Sunday. Pitchers and reserves — totaling 23 players for each side, with at least one representative from every team — will be determined via “Player Ballot” choices and selections made by the Commissioner’s Office.

The 2025 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard will be followed later this month by this year’s 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.
