Welcome to Dugout Dirt

Dugout Dirt was the name of my weekly baseball column when I wrote for Fansided Radio back in 2012-14. The column went caput when the editor went AWOL and the site shut down shortly thereafter. If not for the Wayback Machine, almost every column would have completely disappeared. Some are probably permanently gone from the internet. What I’m doing for now is bringing some of those columns over here so that they have a permanent place online.

I plan to start writing regularly about baseball once again. It’ll depend, of course, on my film and TV duties. Those tend to keep me busy but I miss writing regularly about baseball. It’ll also give me a home for any of my baseball-related book reviews. Let’s be honest in that a film and TV site is not the best home for that!

At some point, I’ll figure out a logo for Dugout Dirt but that day is not today.
